Compliance in Operations Coordinator – EMEA (Cybersecurity & IoT Compliance)
CBRE
Are you a structured programme manager who thrives in the technical depths of networked systems and can galvanise cross-functional teams? CBRE is pioneering the future of corporate real estate infrastructure—and we need you to shape it.
As the Compliance in Operations Coordinator for EMEA, you won’t just oversee projects; you’ll drive the evolution of cybersecurity resilience across our global building portfolio by embedding cutting-edge standards into Business As Usual (BAU) operations.
The Strategic Imperative
You’ll act as the critical liaison between EMEA regional operations and our global Centre of Excellence (CoE), ensuring:
- Next-gen cybersecurity for our buildings, from Ireland to the UAE
- A seamless transition of compliance frameworks into operational best practices
- End-to-end milestone ownership across the 2026 CiO roadmap
About the Role
This is a hybrid of programme management, technical governance, and strategic risk mitigation. Your core mandates include:
Core Responsibilities
- Cybersecurity Programme Ownership
- Track, deliver, and manage all EMEA-wide CiO roadmap milestones by 2026
- Ensure building management systems (BMS), building operating systems (BOS), and lifecycles comply with dynamic cybersecurity frameworks
- Monitor firmware/hardware upgrades and systematically clear security exceptions with vendors
- Validate IoT tools for 100% data integrity while restricting vendor access to critical applications

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
