Company Description
FEED US UP is a UK-based Community Interest Company (CIC) that bridges the gap between organisations with surplus resources and communities with real needs.
Working alongside businesses, charities, and trusted local partners, we transform surplus resources into lasting social impact, reducing waste, promoting sustainability, and strengthening communities.
In the UK, we partner with food redistribution networks and community organisations to help surplus food reach vulnerable older people and individuals experiencing isolation. Internationally, including in Haiti, we work alongside churches and local organisations to equip schools, healthcare facilities, and communities with practical resources that support long-term development.
Our mission is simple: Feeding Growth. Sparking Change. Strengthening Communities.
Role Description
This is a volunteer remote role for a Compliance & Legal Manager.
The Compliance & Legal Manager will lead FEED US UP’s Compliance and Legal functions, managing and supporting a team of volunteer Compliance Officers and Legal Officers while helping to ensure the organisation operates in line with relevant legislation, governance standards, and best practice.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
