An established food manufacturing business is looking to appoint an experienced Engineering Compliance Manager to join its engineering leadership team at a busy production site in Poole.

This is an excellent opportunity for a compliance-focused engineering professional to take ownership of statutory engineering compliance, contractor management, and engineering governance within a fast-paced FMCG environment.

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the site remains fully compliant while supporting engineering reliability, operational performance, and continuous improvement.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Site Engineering Manager, the Engineering Compliance Manager will oversee all statutory engineering compliance activities, ensuring inspections, audits, and regulatory requirements are completed accurately and on time. Working closely with both Engineering and Operations, they will manage compliance systems, coordinate contractor activities, and drive improvements to engineering processes that support a safe and efficient manufacturing environment.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
