Compliance Manager
As our new Compliance Manager, you'll lead the development of Scott Bader's first global compliance framework, helping to protect our business while enabling sustainable growth across our international operations.
This is a newly created role and a unique opportunity to build a compliance function from the ground up. Working closely with our Group General Counsel, you'll partner with leaders across Commercial, Procurement, Supply Chain, Finance and HR to embed a practical, risk-based compliance culture across our global business. You'll play a key role in shaping policies, processes and training that support ethical business practices and ensure compliance across multiple international jurisdictions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement Scott Bader's global compliance framework and policies.
- Lead compliance risk assessments and third-party due diligence processes.
- Partner with Commercial and Procurement teams to embed compliance into business activities.
- Develop and deliver engaging compliance training and awareness programmes.
- Monitor compliance performance and report insights to senior leadership.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience building or significantly developing a compliance framework within an international business.
- Strong knowledge of commercial compliance, including anti-bribery, sanctions, export controls and competition law.
- Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and work collaboratively across multiple functions.
- Excellent analytical, communication and problem-solving skills with a pragmatic approach.
- A relevant qualification in law, compliance, audit or a related discipline.

Desirable:
- Experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- International compliance experience across multiple jurisdictions.
- Legal background or professional legal qualification.
