12-Month Contract
£370 - £411 per day PAYE
Build a Compliance Function from the Ground Up
We're seeking an experienced Compliance Manager to lead the development of a best-in-class compliance and assurance framework across a large-scale transport operation.
This is a rare opportunity to create and implement the standards, governance, audit programmes and risk controls that will shape the future of fleet compliance. You'll have the autonomy to build processes from scratch, influence senior stakeholders and drive meaningful change across a complex transport network.
The Role
You will:
- Design and implement fleet compliance and assurance frameworks.
- Develop risk-based audit and inspection programmes.
- Monitor regulatory requirements and translate them into practical operational policies.
- Manage carrier compliance performance and corrective action programmes.
- Build reporting, dashboards and compliance scorecards.
- Partner with operations, transport and legal teams to embed best practice and drive continuous improvement.

About You
We're interested in professionals with experience in:
- Fleet compliance, transport compliance, assurance, audit, risk or regulatory oversight.
- Building governance frameworks, controls or operating models from scratch.
- Managing multiple stakeholders and influencing without direct authority.
- Using data and insights to drive decision-making and performance improvements.
