Group Risk & Compliance Senior Manager
A fantastic opportunity is now available at one of the Top 35 UK accountancy and business advisory firms, poised for ambitious growth across England.
As the firm expands, this role offers a chance to shape its evolving risk and compliance framework by providing strategic oversight.
Reporting to the Compliance Director, your responsibilities will include:
Key Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of the Group’s risk and compliance strategy
- Lead compliance initiatives across:
- Anti-Money Laundering (AML)
- Financial crime
- Ethics
- Deputy Prisons Board (DPB) matters
- Practice assurance
- Support regulatory integration of acquired firms and maintain relationships with professional bodies
- Develop and maintain the Group risk register and governance framework
- Produce risk reporting for senior leadership and the Board
- Oversee GDPR compliance and drive the implementation of new regulatory policies
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders to embed compliance in projects and business operations
- Provide day-to-day oversight of compliance activities
- Offer regulatory advice to the wider business as needed

About You
You’ll have:
- Strong UK regulatory experience, ideally gained within accountancy, legal practice, or a professional regulatory body
- Deep knowledge of:
- AML (Anti-Money Laundering)
- Customer Due Diligence (CDD)
- Financial crime
- Data protection (GDPR)
- Experience in risk management or governance (desirable but not mandatory)
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- A pragmatic, commercial approach to compliance
- Strong organised, attention-to-detail focus
- A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between offices
