Compliance Manager
Office Location: Ormskirk Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 + Private Healthcare
KO2 is partnering with a global engineering business that designs and manufactures access control systems for retail banking, along with high-security safes and vaults for private banks worldwide.
With the current Compliance Manager approaching retirement, our client is looking for an experienced professional to take the reins on product compliance and verification across their full product range. You'll receive a thorough handover and ongoing investment in your development as part of a genuine long-term succession plan.
This is a pivotal role, leading the verification function and ensuring products consistently meet regulatory requirements and third-party certification standards.
The Role
As Compliance Manager, you'll head up verification and approvals, ensuring every product — new and existing — meets the relevant standards and certifications. Expect close collaboration with R&D and external test houses, plus ownership of third-party testing and certification renewals.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
