Compliance Monitoring Engineer East Midlands Airport

About The Role

Ensure full compliance with all relevant regulatory standards, company procedures, and safety policies. You will be responsible for ensuring that both planned and adhoc maintenance activity supports both regulatory standards and company procedures.

Duties

  • Ensure full compliance with existing Part 145, company and national regulations and remain continually aware of any changes to regulations.
  • Ensure full compliance with existing FAA national regulations and remain continually aware of any changes to regulations.
  • Carry out audits as prescribed by the Compliance Manager to ensure that all aspects of maintenance activities, including subcontracted services, are audited against the relevant regulations and company policies to ensure compliance.
  • Carry out unannounced Compliance audits when requested by the Accountable Manager or the Compliance monitoring manager.
  • Report any findings or concerns to the Compliance Manager and Accountable Manager.
  • Ensure the adequate and appropriate closure of audit findings with respect to root cause analysis, corrective and preventative actions.
  • Deputise for the Compliance Manager in their absence.

General

  • Ensure the information requirements of computer systems are met, and ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Ad-hoc duties as and when required.
  • Work flexibly and develop positive working relationships with a broad range of people.
  • Comply with all relevant BCT Aviation SMS, health and safety rules, procedures and guidelines. To be fully aware of the health and safety responsibilities of this role.
  • Always work in a professional manner and be a positive representative for BCT Aviation Maintenance Limited.
  • Hold a ISO9001 lead auditor qualification or aviation equivalent.
  • Good Knowledge of EASA and UK part 145 regulations.
