Based at our Lasham site with 2Excel Engineering Limited, the successful candidate will act as the Nominated Post Holder for Compliance and will be responsible for ensuring that the organisation’s activities remain compliant with applicable regulatory requirements, company standards and contractual obligations, while helping to identify, manage and mitigate associated risks.
The day-to-day duties will include but not be limited to:
- Establishing and maintaining an independent audit system to monitor company compliance with applicable regulatory requirements, ensuring the audit plan is implemented, maintained, reviewed and continually improved
- Monitoring activities for compliance with applicable regulatory requirements and additional company standards, ensuring they are carried out appropriately under the supervision of the relevant Nominated Persons
- Implementing and managing a quality audit programme to review compliance with maintenance procedures at regular intervals for each aircraft type maintained
- Ensuring observed non-compliances, findings or poor standards are escalated to the appropriate person and manager, and that corrective actions are tracked through to completion
- Ensuring any maintenance contracted to another maintenance organisation is monitored for compliance with the contract or work order, and that corrections and corrective actions are requested where required
- Providing day-to-day leadership, support and management for direct reports

We are looking for a candidate with the following essential skill set and experience:
- Previous experience as a Nominated Post Holder, ideally within an aviation maintenance or engineering environment
- Demonstrable experience within a Part 145 maintenance environment
- Strong understanding of compliance monitoring, quality auditing, corrective action management and regulatory oversight
- Proven people management experience, with the ability to lead, support and develop direct reports
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail, including confident data entry and record management skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, operational environment
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with tact, discretion and diplomacy
- Excellent communication skills, with the confidence to engage effectively with colleagues, internal customers and senior stakeholders
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and work to deadlines
- Competent user of Microsoft Office and other relevant business systems
