Compliance Officer
Reds10 is seeking an experienced and proactive Compliance Officer to play a key role in maintaining and developing our Integrated Management Systems (IMS) within the Reds10 Group. This will include supporting our ISO accreditations and driving a culture of compliance across the business entities.
This is an excellent opportunity for a compliance professional who is ready to take ownership of compliance activities, work collaboratively with stakeholders across multiple business functions, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our management systems and governance framework.
You will act as a subject matter expert for compliance processes, standards and documentation, supporting the Compliance Manager while leading key compliance activities including internal audits, policy management, legal compliance monitoring, and ISO certification support.
Responsibilities
- Support the ongoing development, implementation and continuous improvement of Reds10's Integrated Management System (IMS).
- Manage 4 business entities within the Reds10 Group to ensure certification achievement and overall management alongside the nominated compliance champions.
- Monitor compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, ISO standards and internal policies.
- Assist in the development and rollout of company-wide compliance initiatives and best practice processes.
- Support business continuity planning activities, including testing, reviews and improvement plans.
- Support the Compliance Manager by planning, coordinating and conducting internal audits across our manufacturing facility in Driffield and office in Leeds.
- Support preparation for external ISO certification and audits.
- Participate in external audits and act as a key point of contact for audit-related activities.
- Produce audit reports and provide recommendations to improve compliance performance.
- Maintain ISO-related records and documentation in line with standards whilst ensuring policies, procedures, forms and templates remain current, controlled and compliant.
- Work closely with operational teams to promote compliance awareness.
- Coordinate compliance reviews, management review meetings and governance forums.
- Track actions arising from audits, reviews and compliance meetings.
- Deliver guidance and support to colleagues on compliance-related matters.
- Contribute to compliance training and awareness programmes.
- Maintain compliance registers, schedules and records.
- Monitor mandatory training completion and compliance obligations.
- Support the Compliance Manager in delivering departmental objectives and strategic initiatives.

Essential Skills & Experience

- Experience working within an ISO-certified environment.
- Knowledge of management systems and document control processes.
- Experience conducting internal audits and supporting external audits.
- Strong understanding of compliance governance and risk management principles.
- Excellent organisational and project coordination skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to analyse information, identify issues and drive improvements.
- High attention to detail with a proactive and solution-focused approach.
- Strong Microsoft Office and systems skills.
- Experience within construction, manufacturing, engineering or a regulated environment is preferred.
Please note that eligibility for UK security clearance (minimum 3 years uninterrupted UK residency) will be required for this role.
