At Nottingham Community Housing Association (NCHA), we're committed to providing safe, secure, and well-maintained homes for our customers. We're looking for a Compliance Contracts Officer to join our dedicated team and play a vital role in delivering landlord compliance across our property portfolio.


About the Role

As a Compliance Contracts Officer, you'll be at the heart of our compliance operations, ensuring that our homes meet all statutory and regulatory requirements. You will:

  • Oversee the delivery of Fire Safety contracts including Fire Risk Assessments, Fire Door Inspections, and other regulatory inspection programmes
  • Complete necessary reports, recordings, and administration to improve landlord compliance
  • Monitor and report on all areas of responsibility including potential instances of non-compliance
  • Ensure that works completed relating to compliance are completed and maintained in line with relevant statutory and regulatory requirements and within timescale
  • Support the Compliance Contracts Manager in the procurement of services via traditional tenders or frameworks
  • Monitor contract administration with service providers and contractors and assist with managing service provider and contractor performance
  • Responsible for the KPIs for contracts; taking any necessary action to ensure agreed standards are achieved
  • Support colleagues and contractors in overseeing refurbishment, maintenance, and repair work within relevant buildings
  • Carry out monitored/ pre/ post inspections on compliance related works carried out by both contractors and in-house teams.

  • Strong knowledge of the Big 6 compliance areas in housing
  • Demonstrable experience of working with fire compliance
  • Experience of planning and delivering complex programmes of work on time, to specification, and budget
  • Experience in landlord compliance, contract procurement, and contractor management
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to turn complex data into actionable insights
  • A full valid driving licence and flexibility to attend meetings outside core hours
