Job Summary
The Company is a UK Authorised Electronic Money Institution (AEMI) that provides e-money services to customers. The company is backed by a considerable and loyal client base and is expanding its operations in the UK. The Company is in the process of setting up an AEMI in the UK.
We are recruiting a Compliance Officer to help build a world-class AML/CFT program that supports our growth plans in the UK. We are looking for an individual with a solid understanding of e-commerce, payments processing, acquiring business, and relevant risks in these areas. The ideal candidate should have:

- Experience in AML/CFT
- Deep knowledge of UK legislations
- A track record of transforming FCA requirements into practical policies and procedures
Expectations
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, or a relevant field
- AML/CFT policy expertise in line with UK/FCA requirements
- Experience with regulatory exams and inquiries
- Preferable experience in banking industry
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Compliance Officer in payments/acquiring business
- Prior AEMI licensing experience (UK)
- FCA Handbook knowledge
- Multiple AML certifications
- Specialisation in UK Money Laundering Regulations
- Fluent English (written and spoken)
- Strong communication skills
- Tech-savvy with agile working experience
- Availability to work legally in the UK
- Ability to operate effectively in high-pressure startup environment

Key Duties
- Establish AML/CFT and Sanction framework
- Develop internal policies and procedures
- Liaise with regulators to ensure compliance
- File and manage Suspicious Transaction Reports (STRs)
- Share AML/CFT-risk insights with senior management
- Regulatory reporting & support
