We are working on an exciting opportunity with a major UK infrastructure organisation seeking to appoint a Compliance Officer to join its Legal Services team.

This is a newly created position, reflecting continued investment in the organisation's corporate compliance function and offering the opportunity to play a key role in shaping and embedding compliance frameworks across a complex, highly regulated business.

This is not a financial crime or customer compliance role.

Instead, we are looking for somebody who enjoys interpreting legislation, developing practical policies and procedures, and working with senior stakeholders to ensure compliance is embedded across the organisation.

The successful candidate will become involved in a broad range of work, including:

  • Developing and maintaining corporate compliance policies and procedures
  • Supporting the design and continuous improvement of compliance frameworks
  • Interpreting new legislation and translating regulatory requirements into practical business processes
  • Compliance monitoring and internal assurance activities
  • Advising senior stakeholders on compliance obligations and risk
  • Delivering compliance training and awareness programmes
  • Supporting the implementation of new regulatory initiatives across the business

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

We're interested in speaking with individuals who have experience within an internal corporate compliance function, ideally gained within sectors such as utilities, energy, infrastructure, transport, engineering, defence, mining, or other highly regulated environments.

You might currently work in compliance, audit, assurance, legal, or governance, but you will have experience developing compliance frameworks rather than solely operating within established processes.
