Compliance Operations Associate

Location: Remote +/- 2 hours GMT/BST Type: Full-time, Permanent Working style: Remote first. Hybrid available if Ireland or London Reports to: COO

About Kota Kota is reimagining insurance and retirement benefits for the modern workforce. Through our two flagship products—Kota Platform, the first fully integrated benefits platform, and Kota Embed, our embedded insurance solution—we're making benefits more accessible, valued, and global. Today, we power benefits for tens of thousands of employees at Europe's most forward-thinking companies, including Carwow, Tines, Zoe, and Remote. Founded in 2022, we've raised more than €20M from leading investors like EQT Ventures, Eurazeo, Northzone, and Frontline, along with founders and executives from Workday, Remote, Personio, OpenAI, and more.

About You We are looking for a Compliance Operations Associate in our Operations team at Kota. This person will oversee our first line activities, including onboarding, screening and transaction monitoring. Kota is growing rapidly and with that, onboarding hundreds of businesses and thousands of individuals. We must screen and onboard in line with strict regulatory requirements, as well as to comply with the expectations of our regulated partners. This role will build out many of the processes required to execute this efficiently. The individual should have a compliance operations background and be a problem solver, enjoying the ambiguity that is inherent in startup life. The person will be supported by an experienced COO and CRO who have both built out sophisticated programmes in this space. The candidate should be based in Europe or the UK and can work remotely, if desired. The person will report to the COO.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
