Salary: £45,000-£50,000
We are looking for an experienced and commercially minded Compliance Project Manager to lead the delivery of Billable Works projects across homes throughout the South East and South West. This is a key role responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of compliance and improvement projects that ensure properties remain safe, compliant and fit for purpose while delivering an excellent customer experience.
You will take ownership of projects from initial planning through to successful completion and handover, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, within budget and in accordance with contractual requirements. Working closely with Defence Infrastructure Organisation (DIO) representatives, operational teams, contractors and supply chain partners, you will coordinate all aspects of project delivery, maintaining clear governance, strong financial control and effective stakeholder engagement throughout.
A significant part of the role will involve managing project budgets, monitoring financial performance and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and maximise value. You will oversee procurement activities, contractor performance, programme management, risk mitigation and reporting, ensuring projects meet all legislative, contractual and JSP requirements. You will also champion a strong Safety First culture, ensuring compliance with Health & Safety legislation, CDM Regulations and asbestos management requirements.

Working with asset condition data, compliance information and stakeholder priorities, you will contribute to the development of future works programmes and long-term investment plans across the estate. You will build strong relationships with clients, residents, contractors and internal colleagues, providing regular updates, managing expectations and ensuring projects are delivered with minimal disruption. Throughout delivery, you will focus on maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction, ensuring residents remain informed and supported throughout the lifecycle of works.
The role also provides an opportunity to drive innovation and continuous improvement, identifying ways to enhance project delivery, strengthen supply chain performance, improve commercial outcomes and support sustainability objectives, including reducing carbon emissions across the estate.
This role will require travel to sites across the South East and South West so candidates must be willing to travel.
About You
You will have proven experience delivering construction, compliance, infrastructure or facilities management projects within a complex operational environment, with responsibility for managing projects from inception through to completion. Strong commercial awareness, budget management experience and a thorough understanding of project governance and contract delivery are essential.
You will possess excellent knowledge of project management principles, construction practices and Health, Safety and Environmental requirements, with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining focus on quality, compliance and customer outcomes. Experience working within defence infrastructure, social housing, facilities management or similarly regulated environments would be highly advantageous.

As a confident communicator and relationship builder, you will be comfortable engaging with clients, contractors, residents and senior stakeholders, influencing decisions and resolving issues effectively. You will be an organised and proactive leader who can motivate others, manage contractor performance and deliver successful outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
Strong analytical and reporting skills are important, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management systems such as Maximo. Most importantly, you will be driven by delivering excellent service, continuous improvement and safe, high-quality project outcomes that make a positive difference to customers and communities.
