Rate: £300 - £380 per day (Temporary Contract)

We are seeking an experienced Compliance Surveyor with a strong understanding of property compliance and building safety regulations.

The role will involve ensuring homes remain safe, compliant, and meet all relevant regulatory standards. You will be responsible for managing compliance programmes, monitoring contractor performance, identifying risks, and ensuring remedial works are completed to a high standard.

The right individual will have excellent communication skills, the ability to manage stakeholder expectations, and experience working within social housing or housing associations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure properties remain compliant with all relevant safety and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage compliance programmes across areas such as gas, electrical, fire, asbestos, and water safety.
  • Carry out property inspections and identify compliance risks.
  • Oversee contractors and monitor performance to ensure works are completed to a high standard.
  • Maintain accurate compliance records and certification.
  • Provide technical advice and support to internal teams and stakeholders.
  • Ensure remedial works are delivered safely, on time, and in line with legislation.

Job Criteria

  • Previous experience within social housing, housing associations, or local authorities.
  • Strong knowledge of property compliance and building safety regulations.
  • Experience managing compliance programmes and contractors.
  • Understanding of key compliance areas such as gas, electrical, fire safety, asbestos, and water hygiene.
