The Candidate
Location: Based in Smallfield (own transport preferred, office-based) Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday)

Key Responsibilities
Training Programme Management
- Lead the planning and coordination of internal and external construction training programmes, including:
- Health & Safety
- CSCS/NPORS card training
- NVQs
- Ensure training is delivered efficiently, on schedule, and aligned with business and project needs.
Compliance Oversight
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date training records, schedules, and databases for site operatives and staff.
- Monitor training attendance, engagement, and feedback to evaluate effectiveness and drive improvements.
- Guarantee full compliance with industry regulations, standards, and mandatory certification requirements.
CITB Grant & Funding Management
- Take ownership of CITB grant applications, submissions, and reconciliations to maximise funding opportunities.
- Maintain robust documentation and ensure full compliance with CITB requirements.
- Serve as the subject matter expert and primary contact for all CITB-related activities, supporting funding strategies.
Continuous Improvement & Insight
- Analyse training data and performance metrics to identify trends, gaps, and enhancement opportunities.
- Stay updated on industry developments and CITB updates, implementing best practices.
- Contribute to evolving training processes to improve efficiency and overall effectiveness.

Experience & Skills
- Proven experience in managing CITB grant applications, submissions, and reconciliations.
- Strong knowledge of construction industry training, including CSCS, NPORS, and NVQs.
- Exceptional organisational skills, with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Proactive, solutions-focused, and passionate about workforce development.
- Familiarity with e-learning platforms and digital training tools is a plus.
