Job Title: Compliance Verification Engineer (CVE) – D328eco Aircraft Project Location: Munich, Germany Specialism: Aerospace Engineering Employer: Expleo – Trusted Partner for Engineering, Quality Services, and Digital Transformation
About the Role
Expleo, a leading provider of engineering solutions for world-class aerospace manufacturers, is seeking a senior Compliance Verification Engineer (CVE) to support the D328eco Aircraft project for Deutsche Aerospace.
In this critical regulatory role, you will independently verify compliance of landing gear designs, modifications, and repairs against EASA Part 21 Subpart J standards—acting as an authorized signatory and key liaison between engineering teams, suppliers, and aviation authorities.
Your expertise will ensure all effort aligns with CS-25, ATA 32, and related airworthiness requirements, addressing systems from wheels & brakes to electrical indicator assemblies while driving punctual, compliant certification outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct Independent Verification: Validate compliance documents (e.g., test programmes, reports, stress analyses) produced by design teams, signing off as an officially authorized signatory.
- Engage Aviation Authorities: Serve as the primary technical contact for EASA (and other civil aviation bodies) during the certification process.
- Technical Approvals:
- Oversee and sign-off test programme planning and reports
- Approve technical manuals, including Aircraft Flight Manuals and Airworthiness Limitations
- Regulatory Alignment: Ensure all documentation confirms compliance with safety, environmental, and performance targets.
- Cross-System Integration: Verify correct implementation of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical landing systems into the airframe.
- Performance Validation: Verify or conduct performance/sizing analyses for landing gear components (e.g., loads, fatigue, life-cycle validation).

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
