About Graphcore

At Graphcore, we're building the future of AI compute. We're a team of semiconductor, software and AI experts with deep experience in creating the complete AI compute stack—from silicon and software to infrastructure at datacenter scale. As part of the SoftBank Group, backed by significant long-term investment, we're delivering key technology into the rapidly growing SoftBank AI ecosystem. To meet the enormous opportunity ahead, we're expanding our teams around the world and bringing together exceptional people to solve some of the toughest engineering challenges in artificial intelligence.

What you’ll be doing

We're looking for a diligent and detail-oriented Component Engineer to join our Manufacturing Operations team in the UK. You'll play a key role in ensuring our products are built using the highest quality electronic and electro-mechanical components. Working closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Test, Quality and Supply Chain teams, you'll support both new product introduction and volume manufacturing by driving component selection, qualification and lifecycle management. You'll also work directly with suppliers and manufacturing partners to minimise supply risk and enable the successful delivery of Graphcore's next generation AI hardware.

The Team

You'll join the Manufacturing and Technology Process team within Graphcore's Operations organisation. The team is based across Bristol, Cambridge and Taiwan and is responsible for developing and maintaining robust manufacturing processes across wafer fabrication, package assembly and PCBA subcontract manufacturing. Working closely with both internal engineering teams and external manufacturing partners, the team ensures our products are manufactured to the highest standards of quality, reliability and performance.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
