Petrarch is keen to recruit a talented graduate (BSc or MSc) in Composites Materials Science, Thermoset Polymer Chemistry, or a related discipline, to help shape the future of our industry-leading reconstituted stone façade system.

For more than 50 years, we've been redefining façade materials through continuous research, development and innovation. Now we're looking for a Composites Material Technologist to play a key role in the next stage of our journey.


THE ROLE

In this influential and engaging role, you will:

  • Lead the ongoing development and optimisation of thermoset polymer composite stone and polymer-composite materials.

  • Be highly-motivated and disciplined, driving formulation innovation and improvements across every element of our panel composition:

    • Fire performance
    • Microstructure control
    • Manufacturing consistency (across resin, filler, pigment, and fire-retardance)
  • Act as the dependable, expert technical bridge between laboratory R&D and full-scale production.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Degree (BSc or MSc) in:

    • Composites Materials Science
    • Thermoset Polymer Chemistry and Composites
    • A related field
  • Study-based experience with thermoset polymer composites, preferably:

    • Composite stone
    • Polymer concrete
