About The Role
At Alignerr, we partner with the world’s leading AI research teams and labs to build and train cutting-edge AI models.
You’ll challenge advanced language models on topics like computer architecture and hardware design, embedded systems and IoT, networking and distributed systems, hardware security, and systems software and operating systems—documenting every failure mode so we can harden model reasoning.
Organization: Alignerr Position: Computer Engineering - AI Data Trainer Type: Hourly Contract Compensation: $35–$60/hour Location: Remote Commitment: 10–40 hours/week
What You’ll Do
- Develop complex technical challenges in fields like RISC-V/ARM architecture, FPGA development, memory management, and hardware-software co-design.
- Author high-precision solutions (including assembly code, HDL snippets, and architectural diagrams) to serve as "golden responses" for AI training.
- Technically audit AI-generated outputs—such as C/C++ code, Verilog/VHDL gate designs, and OS kernels—for accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards.
- Refine AI reasoning by identifying flaws (e.g., race conditions, memory leaks, timing errors) and recommending structured improvements to the model’s reasoning process.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
