Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Machinist role located in Mere. The CNC Machinist will set up, operate, and monitor CNC machines to produce high-precision components according to engineering drawings and specifications. Daily responsibilities include:

- Adjusting machine settings
- Performing routine maintenance checks
- Ensuring safe operation of all equipment

The CNC Machinist will collaborate with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot issues, optimize machining processes, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Machine Operation and Machinery handling, with experience operating CNC equipment safely and efficiently.
- Proficiency in Machining processes, including reading technical drawings and using precision measuring tools.
- Demonstrated ability in Quality Control, ensuring components meet required tolerances and standards.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment, ideally in CNC machining.
- Good understanding of shop safety practices and adherence to health and safety regulations.
- Ability to work accurately, maintain attention to detail, and meet production deadlines.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Relevant vocational training or apprenticeship in machining, engineering, or a related field is beneficial.
