Role: Computer Science Expert (Remote)

Location: Remote (Work from Anywhere)

Job Type: Contract

Payout: $80 - $90/hour


Role Overview:

We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Computer Science Expert (PhD) to work on a contract basis. The role involves conducting advanced research and development in computer science, with a focus on algorithmic innovation and scalable system design. Candidates will be expected to contribute to high-impact technical projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex computational challenges.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and optimize algorithms for large-scale data processing and machine learning applications.
  • Design and implement scalable software systems to meet performance and reliability requirements.
  • Conduct in-depth research to advance the state-of-the-art in computer science, including theoretical and applied contributions.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to translate research findings into production-ready solutions.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and methodologies to enhance computational efficiency and system architecture.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • PhD in Computer Science or a closely related field, with a strong academic or industry research background.
  • Expertise in algorithm design, complexity analysis, and computational theory.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or Java, with experience in low-level optimization.
  • Experience with distributed computing frameworks, parallel processing, or high-performance computing environments.
  • Familiarity with machine learning frameworks, data structures, and optimization techniques for real-world applications.
