Join Our Team as a Computer Vision Engineer at Hawk-Eye Innovations

Hi, I’m Kieran Smith, Computer Vision Engineering Discipline Lead here at Hawk-Eye Innovations, and I’m excited to invite you to consider joining our Baseball Live Tracking Solutions Squad as a Computer Vision Engineer

Working alongside experienced C++ engineers, product teams and sports technology specialists, you'll develop, maintain and evolve production-grade computer vision systems that power our baseball tracking solutions. You'll tackle complex engineering challenges, contribute to real-world tracking systems and help shape technology used across elite sport.

If you're passionate about computer vision, modern C++ and solving challenging technical problems in a collaborative environment, we'd love to hear from you.

What Your Day Will Look Like

As a Computer Vision Engineer, you'll play a key role in building and refining the software and tools that drive our elite baseball tracking systems. Working in an agile environment with two-week sprints, you'll collaborate closely with experienced engineers to deliver reliable, high-performance solutions.

While modern C++ is the primary focus of this role, you'll also gain exposure to a broader technology stack including distributed systems, microservices, AWS cloud services and serverless Python APIs. This will give you a deep understanding of how our Baseball tracking platform operates end to end while allowing you to contribute to its future development.

Working within a small, collaborative team, you'll quickly take ownership of features, contribute to technical design decisions and help deliver products that power world-class baseball tracking technology.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
