Job Description

Salary

£18 – £30 an hour

Job Type

  • Part-time

Qualifications

  • At least 1 years’ teaching experience
  • Do you hold a driver’s licence? (Essential)
  • Want to deliver coding clubs for primary children aged 5-11?
  • No QTS Required
  • Teaching Assistant Qualification (Optional)

Please note: This is an in-person opportunity, requiring candidates to travel to schools in the Epsom, Ashtead, Leatherhead and surrounding areas.

We are positive role models for the learners we teach, giving them safe, well-structured sessions to explore learning opportunities within a number of areas of digital. This includes animation, coding, robotics and much more. Jam Coding has been working in Primary Schools since 2014, delivering computing and coding programs that help children and young people engage in the computing curriculum. We recognize that good computing knowledge and proficiency is a life skill.

Roles & Responsibilities

This is a great opportunity for head code coaches who want to work up to 10 hours a week, while learning technologies and life-changing digital skills.

Full training will be given to the successful applicant to enable them to deliver outstanding and rewarding computing and coding workshops.

Any prior knowledge in visual programming languages, block-coding or robotics is desirable.
