Role Description
As a Concept Artist (Volunteer) at X-Quick Software, the primary focus is to design characters, environments, and key visual elements that define the look and feel of a dark fantasy game. Day-to-day tasks include:

The role also involves:
- Collaborating with the developer to refine visual direction
- Iterating on feedback
- Maintaining a consistent art style across assets
This is a volunteer position and is fully remote, offering flexible hours and the opportunity to contribute creatively to an indie game project.
Qualifications
- Ability to create high-quality Concept Art and Character Designs for dark fantasy settings
- Strong skills in 2D art, including sketching, digital painting, and visual ideation
- Experience with Storyboarding to support narrative moments, cutscenes, or key gameplay sequences
- Familiarity with Blender or similar tools for basic 3D visualization is a plus
- Solid understanding of composition, color, lighting, and visual storytelling
- Portfolio demonstrating relevant concept art and character work (indie or personal projects welcome)
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, take feedback constructively, and iterate quickly
- Interest in dark fantasy themes, game art, and collaborative indie development
