The Role: Concept Designer (POS Displays)
We’re looking for a brilliant Concept Designer to join our studio—someone who thrives on turning bold ideas into standout Semi-Permanent Point of Sale (POS) displays that stop people in their tracks, making them stop, look, and feel.
This is not just about shelf space—it’s about reimagining how beauty, lifestyle, and retail brands show up in the world. You’ll shape brand-led display experiences from first sketch to final spec, delivering high-impact retail solutions for global cosmetics and lifestyle brands.
This role operates on a blended basis, balancing: ✔ Time in the local HH Global office ✔ Visits to client / supplier sites ✔ Work from home

Key Responsibilities
- Conceptualise striking retail displays that blend creativity with functionality
- Respond to creative briefs with clever, commercially aware ideas that hit all targets
- Design full retail fixtures & components, always considering materials, cost, and sustainability
- Develop mood boards, sketches, 3D visuals, and presentations that tell a clear design story
- Collaborate with Account Managers, Structural Engineers, and Production to bring ideas to life
- Pitch & present directly to clients, confidently selling ideas while welcoming feedback
- Embed sustainability by using smart materials, reducing carbon footprints, and designing modular solutions
- Manage multiple creative projects while adapting to fast-paced feedback and tight deadlines
- Push creative boundaries to redefine what’s possible in retail display design
Requirements
Skills & Experience
- Experience in Product Design, Industrial Design, or Furniture Design
- Strong portfolio showing your design process from sketch to final shelf execution
- Hands-on experience designing Permanent POS retail displays
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software (Cinema 4D & Rhino preferred), along with Adobe Creative Suite
- Visual storytelling & graphic design skills, plus strong sketching ability (a major plus)
- Deep materials knowledge (wood, metal, acrylics) and understanding of production techniques
- Passion for sustainable design, with real-world experience in low-impact solutions
- Sharp attention to detail and an eye for on-brand execution
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to sell ideas effectively
- Agency mindset: fast-thinking, progressive problem-solving, and endless creative curiosity
- Practical experience with presentation planning, real-world solutions, and storytelling that sells
- Confidence in project management tools and multitasking under tight deadlines
