Job Title: Concierge

Salary: From £30,000 to £32,000.00 per annum (Depending on experience)
Hours: Monday to Sunday from 7am to 7pm, 3 days on, 3 days off (rota).

Job Summary And Key Responsibilities
The Concierge is responsible for the day-to-day management, security, and presentation of a residential development, ensuring a safe, well-maintained, and welcoming environment for residents, visitors, and contractors. Working closely with the Facilities and Estate Managers, the role oversees building operations, contractor performance, health and safety compliance, resident support, and regular site inspections to deliver high standards of customer service and estate management.
Duties Will Include
- Deliver high-quality concierge and estate management services in line with company, client, and statutory requirements.
- Maintain the security, cleanliness, and presentation of the building, including regular inspections of communal areas and reporting maintenance issues.
- Act as the first point of contact for residents, visitors, contractors, and emergency services, providing excellent customer service and resolving enquiries.
- Monitor site security through patrols, CCTV, access control, and visitor management, ensuring emergency exits and communal areas remain safe.
- Coordinate and supervise contractors, ensuring works are completed to agreed standards and in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of contractor attendance, site inspections, incidents, statutory certificates, and maintenance activities.
- Support the implementation and monitoring of health and safety policies, audits, risk assessments, and statutory compliance.
- Produce regular inspection reports and communicate operational issues, incidents, and recommendations to the Facilities and Estate Managers.
- Assist with refuse management, basic maintenance tasks (such as replacing accessible light bulbs), and ensure the concierge office and communal areas are kept to a high standard.

Skills Required
- Previous experience in a concierge, facilities, estate management, or customer service role.
- Strong customer service and communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships with residents and contractors.
- Good understanding of building security, health and safety, and facilities management practices.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and respond effectively to emergencies.
- Strong organisational skills with accurate record-keeping and report-writing abilities.
- Competent IT skills and experience using CCTV and building management systems (desirable).
- Professional, reliable, and proactive approach with excellent attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends, as required.
