Weekend Concierge

Location: Stoke

Adullam has opportunities available to be part of our service in Stoke-on-Trent.

About The Role

If you enjoy working with people from all walks of life, have experience of working in a busy environment, and have a great eye for detail, then we would really like to hear from you!

The main purpose of this role is to ensure our premises are safe and secure and represent Adullam standards. We provide support to people with multiple and complex needs as part of a service for those who have lost their home or been rough sleeping.

We are looking for a Concierge to join our team! As a Concierge, you will be responsible for taking care of our facilities, including health and security of the centre, reviewing CCTV, ensuring the Tenant/residents/service users are safe in the environment, and some cleaning duties.

Your main goal will be to keep our building in a safe, secure, and orderly condition. The role is 25 hours over the weekend. You will ensure a good standard of professional service is given and that you work within the Association’s Policies and Procedures. You will be expected to ensure effective working relationships with colleagues and contribute to the maintenance and development of the Association's values, culture, and ethos.

We are looking for a Concierge with:

  • An awareness of issues relating to vulnerable individuals and those that have faced multiple disadvantages.
  • Proven working experience as a Concierge.
  • An organised person who can multitask.
  • Ability to Multitask.
  • A working knowledge of Health and Safety in the workplace, COSH.
  • Need to be agile and able to move equipment around the building.
  • An ability to demonstrate our values and behaviours and work within our Christian ethos.

This role is salaried at: £15,600 per annum for 25 hours per week.
