About the Hotel
Grosvenor House, a grand 5-star hotel, is situated on Park Lane, offering exceptional accommodation and epicurean delights with views over Hyde Park. Celebrating its 90th anniversary in 2019, the hotel has welcomed celebrities, royalty, and business leaders. Conveniently located near Bond Street, Knightsbridge, Regent Street, Buckingham Palace, and various museums, the hotel provides guests with a memorable experience in a luxury environment.
What We Are Looking For

Job Summary
To assist guests efficiently, courteously, and professionally in all Concierge-related functions. Ensure each interaction follows quality assurance standards, exceeds guests’ expectations, and promotes a professional and positive image of JW Marriott Grosvenor House London.

- Absorb information from colleagues and external resources pertinent to the Concierge role.
- Stay updated with local events.
- Empowered to deal with guests’ issues and problems using the LEARN model and seek advice when unsure.
- Engage guests in conversation regarding their stay, property services, and area attractions/offerings.
- Anticipate guests' service needs by asking questions and watching/listening to guest preferences.
- Mentor new hires, supporting and encouraging their learning.
- Maintain all logbooks.
- Be knowledgeable about the hotel's dining options and support them actively.
- Ensure the immaculate appearance of the lobby and Concierge Desk.
- Respond positively and provide timely and accurate information to guests upon request, including handling messages, mail and packages, providing local activity information, storage of luggage, handling laundry, confirming flight tickets, arranging transportation, obtaining theatre tickets, arranging sightseeing trips, etc.
Candidate Profile
Experience:
- Previous experience working within a hotel front office environment or similar
- Good knowledge of the London area
Skills and Knowledge:
- Strong communication skills (verbal, written, listening)
- Customer service orientation and strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Multitasking, organizational skills, and time management skills
- Positive demeanor
- Proactive and reliable
Education:
- Good level of English essential
