Location: Sanctuary Supported Living, Westbourne Avenue, Hull, HU5 3HN
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour
Hours: Average 33 hours per week
Shift Pattern: 3 on, 3 off
Shift Times: 21:45 – 06:00
Requirement: Valid SIA Licence and Enhanced DBS essential
About The Role
Kingdom Group is seeking a professional, reliable, and customer-focused Concierge Security Officer to join our team at Sanctuary Supported Living, Westbourne Avenue, Hull.
Working within a supported housing environment, you will play a key role in ensuring the safety and security of residents, visitors, contractors, and staff.
This is a night-based role where you will provide a visible security presence, manage access control, conduct patrols, respond to incidents, and deliver excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a professional security presence throughout the site.
- Monitor and control access to the building.
- Conduct regular internal and external patrols.
- Respond to incidents, emergencies, and welfare concerns.
- Monitor CCTV systems and report suspicious activity.
- Complete accurate incident and occurrence reports.
- Support residents with enquiries and provide assistance where appropriate.
- Act as the first point of contact during out-of-hours periods.
- Carry out health and safety inspections and report hazards.
- Monitor fire safety equipment and emergency exits.
- Liaise with emergency services when required.
- Ensure site policies and procedures are followed at all times.

What We're Looking For
- Valid SIA Licence (Security Guarding or Door Supervision).
- Enhanced DBS Certificate.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Professional, approachable, and reliable attitude.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle challenging situations.
- Good observation and report-writing skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Previous security, concierge, supported housing, or customer service experience is desirable.

- Permanent night shifts.
- Average 33 hours per week.

- A full 5-year checkable employment history will be required.
- Successful applicants must hold a valid SIA Licence.
