Picture yourself brightening someone’s day. When you join our Hotels team, that’s exactly what you’ll do every time you come to work! As a Conference and Banqueting Floor Manager, you’re not just providing strategic leadership and direction for event set-up operations—you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest special.
Responsibilities
Here’s what you’ll do during a typical day:
- Lead event set-up operations: Provide overall strategic direction to ensure all event spaces are prepared accurately, efficiently, and in alignment with client specifications
- Drive seamless event turnover: Oversee breakdown and clean-up procedures to maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and readiness for future functions
- Uphold space presentation standards: Guide team members with tasks such as furniture care, floor maintenance, carpet cleaning, and overall banquet space presentation
- Support event success: Assist with planning, organisation, and execution of all banquet functions
- Enhance guest experiences: Collaborate with F&B and Culinary teams to monitor service and product quality, address guest feedback, resolve issues, and support improvements to the banqueting experience
- Champion company culture: Foster a diverse, high-performing team by integrating Hilton’s values into all event initiatives, creating a guest- and team member-centric environment, and leading with direct, meaningful engagement
- Develop and guide talent: Advocate for team members through career development planning, mentorship, and succession strategies, while maintaining an open-door policy, resolving conflicts effectively, and ensuring a productive, motivated work environment
