Job Description

Main responsibilities

  • Be fully aware of the different set-ups and be able to do them if necessary
  • Have full knowledge of items served on the menu and buffet
  • Keep assigned station clean, with adequate supply of necessary materials
  • Keep high sales turnover by promoting all F&B items on the menu and buffet
  • Take customers’ orders to standard
  • Communicate to the Manager or Supervisor on duty any guest priorities
  • Inform Manager or Supervisor of possible problems concerning any requirements, which may affect the quality of service
  • Ensure safety and hygiene standards are met
  • Responsible for looking after Hotel property at all times
  • Be flexible at all times in order to cover the unexpected needs of the Food and Beverage outlets
  • Report anything considered a health and safety hazard
  • To be fully knowledgeable of the Pullman Standards
  • To carry out the “Meet & Greet” with the clients
  • To be able to carry out a structured “farewell” with the clients
  • To wear and maintain uniform standards

Reports to Conference & Banqueting Manager

Profile

Education / Professional Experience

  • Vocational degree in hospitality or F&B studies
  • At least 3 years' professional experience
  • Computer literate
  • Language: fluent in the national language, operational English and a 3rd language would be a plus
