Conference Operations Coordinator

About the Role

This critical role offers you the opportunity to own the operational standard of every conference we run. You will be responsible for the end-to-end execution of 10 European private equity conferences a year, covering venues, suppliers, on-site teams, and overall attendee experience.

Do you thrive in owning responsibility? Do you love fast-paced environments where you must coordinate thousands of moving parts? If you are obsessive about detail, manage pressure well, and energise through execution, this could be the right role.

Why United Media?

United Media specialises in building large-scale industry media and conferences in sectors like insurance, finance, and retail. With 9 launched media companies organically and 1 acquisition, we are growing fast.

What We Offer

  • Real impact – Work in a startup where your efforts directly shape the business.
  • Inspiring relationships – Collaborate with a high-performing team, CEO, and founder.
  • Unlimited growth – A proven track record of internal promotions.
  • Travel opportunities – Regular overseas conferences.
  • Transferable skills – Develop your interpersonal, research, organisation, outreach, and project management.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
