Conference Operations Manager
Head of Event Operations (10/Year European PE Conferences)
You will own the operational standard for every conference we produce. Responsibilities include the end-to-end execution of 10 European private equity conferences annually, covering venues, supplier management, on-site coordination, and delivering ceiling-quality experiences.

Responsibilities
Your core focus is ensuring flawless, high-quality execution across all events. Key areas include:
Supplier & Logistics Mastery
- Research and source top-tier suppliers (venues, vendors, brands).
- Negotiate contracts, compare offerings, and secure cost-effective, high-value partnerships.
- Maintain proactive supplier relationships with clear communication and conflict resolution.
- Handle budget review & forecasting to alert stakeholders of changes before deadlines.

Event Execution
- Lead the end-to-end planning of VIP sponsorships, dinners, lunches, and post-conference activations.
- Coordinate venues & on-site teams—ensuring detail mastery, timing precision, and seamless event flow.
- On-site troubleshooting—problem-solving under pressure to guarantee a stellar experience.
Internal & Organisational Support
- Consolidate and condense team queries, reducing repetitive requests.
- Inventory tracking—manage and update all event assets, from AV equipment to branding.
- Quality check creative assets (banners, signage, marketing collateral).
- Volunteer leadership—hire, train, and manage 40-person teams for each event.

Critical Expectations
