Conference Operations Producer
Senior Conference Operations Manager
United Media offers the unique opportunity to own the operational standard of every conference you run. You will be responsible for the end-to-end execution of 10 European private equity conferences annually—covering venues, suppliers, on-site teams, and attendee experience.

Your Responsibilities
Your role will evolve with the demands of the business, but will primarily focus on:
Supplier Research and Management
- Source, compare, and secure top-tier suppliers for all event needs—venues, catering, tech, logistics, decor.
- Conduct deep-dive research for niche vendors (branded materials, sponsorship add-ons, vendor product solutions).
- Negotiate binding contracts, minimise waste, and optimise spend per aligned KPIs.
- Nurture strong supplier relationships—collaborate proactively to resolve issues and ensure a seamless experience.
Event Planning and Execution
- Plan all on-site and off-site activations—sponsored VIP treatments, corporate dinners, lunches, executive retreats, awards ceremonies.
- Partner with venues to finalise logistics, safety checks, and delivery guarantees for capacity, AV, AV, security, and staffing.
- On-site advocacy: oversee timelines, troubleshoot issues, and ensure flawless flow from rope drop to closure.
Internal Team Support
- Clear a consistent backlog: resolve internal requests, consolidate priorities, escalate blockers to leadership.
- Maintain meticulous inventory of supplies, event assets, and touchpoints (banners, tech, decor, signage).
- Quality assurance for all printed and digital design project collateral prior to sign-off.
On-Site Volunteers & Staffing
- Cuebaled hiring for engagement: recruit, train, and supervise up to 40 event volunteers to execute standards and ensure a professional atmosphere at every event.
