Conference Organiser
Conferences Operations Executive – United Media
This role offers you the opportunity to own the operational standard of every conference we run. You will be responsible for the end-to-end execution of 10 European private equity conferences a year, covering venues, suppliers, on-site teams, and the attendee experience itself.

Key Responsibilities
1. Supplier Research & Management
- Source, compare, and select the best suppliers for all event-related needs.
- Conduct detailed research to identify add-ons, branding suppliers, and event-specific logistics providers.
- Negotiate and finalise cost-effective, high-quality contracts.
- Maintain strong supplier relationships—addressing issues proactively.
- Oversee budget reviews to flag changes early.
2. Event Planning
- Manage sponsored VIP events, lunches, dinners, and after-hours activities.
- Coordinate venue logistics (security, setup, F&B, AV).
- Provide on-site support to ensure flawless execution.
3. Internal Team & Operations Support
- Consolidate and track internal queries for quick resolution.
- Update inventory logs and equipment sheets.
- Conduct quality checks on design assets (banners, signage, brochures).

4. Volunteer Organisation
- Hire, train, and manage a 40-person volunteer team.
- Assign roles, organise training, and ensure seamless deployment.
- Facilitate feedback loops to optimise future events.

No prior experience is required—training will be provided, and we welcome candidates from all professional backgrounds. However:
