About Business of Apps

Business of Apps is on a mission to connect and grow the app economy and create outstanding opportunities for our team. Founded in 2013, our events and media services bring together app growth, marketing, product, CRM, and revenue leaders with the world's leading app platforms and agencies.

We run flagship conferences in London, New York, and Berlin and we're scaling. Our media platform reaches tens of thousands of app industry professionals every month. We're independently owned and building for the long term. Our values of collaboration, commitment, and learning create a supportive yet high performance culture where you can do your best work within a flexible working environment.

The Role

We're hiring a Conference Producer to help us build outstanding agendas that put the most insightful voices in app growth on stage and creating sessions that help our attendees learn how to grow and scale apps.

Key Responsibilities:

  • You'll report to our Senior Conference Producer and take ownership of a meaningful part of our speaker programme across all three events.
  • This isn't a support role; you'll have real responsibility for pipeline, outreach, and on-site delivery.
  • You'll also pitch in on marketing and delegate acquisition where the team needs firepower.
  • We're also building our content and social presence especially video. If you also want to be part of that, there's scope to get involved.

Daily Tasks:

  • Identifying and approaching high-quality speakers working in growth, user acquisition, CRM, product, and leadership at top apps.
  • Managing outreach, calls, and confirmations end-to-end.
  • Researching trends and surfacing strong agenda ideas.
  • Contributing to session formats — including new interactive formats that go beyond the standard panel and keynote structure.
  • Owning the speaker journey from confirmation to curtain — briefing documents, talk titles, slide deadlines, travel logistics, and green room management on the day.
  • Attending and supporting delivery at our London, NYC, and Berlin events.
  • Acting as the key point of contact for speakers on the day and contributing to a smooth, professional experience.
  • Rolling up your sleeves to support marketing and delegate acquisition campaigns when the team needs it — writing copy, reaching out to your network, or helping promote the agenda.
  • Supporting the production and hosting of webinars and online content — a natural extension of the conference programme and a growing part of how we serve the BoA community year-round.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
