This US law firm has a new opportunity for a Conflicts Staff lawyer to join the firm’s Conflicts and AML team.
It will be an exciting and highly varied role, working alongside a busy team of AML/Conflicts Lawyers.
Applicants must be admitted to practice and have conflicts and AML experience. They will been in a comparable position at a global law firm.
The role’s varied remit will include:
- Review Conflicts searches
- Review of client matters to ensure compliance with policy and procedure
- Analysis of conflicts of interest and business issues
- Preparation of summaries for partners
- Preparation of new business forms to ensure compliance with business intake
- Drafting engagement letters, conflicts waivers and screens as required
- Maintaining knowledge of professional conduct rules
