Our client, an elite US law firm, is actively recruiting for an experienced England & Wales Qualified Lawyer to join them on a permanent basis in their London office – working as their new Conflicts Lawyer.

This firm represents the world’s major corporations, financial institutions and funds in some of their most important transactions and disputes. You’ll be part of the wider Legal Risk Management team – supporting the clearance of conflicts for client matters, working directly with Lawyers in global offices.

As the successful Conflicts Lawyer, you’ll be responsible for (but not limited to) the following:

  • Conducting thorough reviews of conflicts of interest reports
  • Resolving issues identified on a timely basis
  • Reviewing, identifying and resolving ethical and business conflicts of interest issues
  • Assisting firm Lawyers with engagement letters
  • Staying up to date on recent research involving ethics and conflicts of interest
  • Undertaking special projects when needed

To be considered for this opportunity, you’ll need to have/be the following:

  • Be an England & Wales Qualified Lawyer (minimum 3+ PQE)
  • Have 3+ years within Legal Conflicts
  • Possess strong knowledge/experience of the SRA Code of Conduct/Conflict Laws
  • Be able to commute to the London office
