Job Description

Dentsu is an integrated growth and transformation partner to the world’s leading organizations. Founded in 1901 in Tokyo, Japan, and now present in approximately 120 countries and regions, it has a proven track record of nurturing and developing innovations, combining the talents of its global network of leadership brands to develop impactful and integrated growth solutions for clients. Dentsu delivers end-to-end experience transformation (EX) by integrating its services across Media, CXM and Creative, while its business transformation (BX) mindset pushes the boundaries of transformation and sustainable growth for brands, people and society.

Opportunity & Role Purpose

This role will be sitting in the Connections Team and evolve from heavy Media Partnerships Management to driving the strategic roadmap across heavily Content, Experience & Innovation driven Partnerships (Platforms, Creator, Ents & Sponsorships, i.e., Sports, Music, Culture).

The Connections Account Director acts as the strategic bridge between our clients' business challenges and integrated media execution. You will lead high-level client relationships, championing innovative "connections planning" that unites creative ideas with data-driven audience insights. You will oversee multi-million pound budgets, drive commercial growth, and mentor a high-performing account team to deliver impactful, cross-channel campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Growth: Proactively identify client business opportunities and pitch organic growth strategies to expand agency revenue.
  • Escalation Point: Lead the resolution of high-level client challenges, ensuring exceptional satisfaction and retention.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
