Location: Port Glasgow (or Guernsey)

Position Summary

You’ll be responsible for supporting accurate and timely IFRS group consolidation, working with Regional Financial Controllers and Treasury.

Key responsibilities include: Supporting monthly, quarterly, and year-end group consolidation, including:

  • Review of regional submissions
  • Reconciling variances via consolidation journals
  • Intercompany eliminations under IFRS and group accounting policies

  • Consolidated Cash Flow Statement (using indirect method)
  • Preparation of consolidated reporting packs for Board, auditors, and lenders
  • Collaboration with Treasury on liquidity, cash movements, and financing insights
  • Writing technical accounting memos and reports for audit purposes
  • Supporting implementation of new/amended IFRS standards
  • Enhancing consolidation data systems

Plus, helping local teams during peak periods without owning entity reporting.


Requirements

Essential:

  • Proven IFRS & group consolidation expertise, with experience in multi-currency global organisations
  • Strong experience in cash flow preparation
  • Advanced Excel & data analysis skills
  • Experience with consolidation systems (preferably Oracle FCCS)
  • Qualified accountant status (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)
  • Ability to test consolidated financial results against other data points
