Construction Associate Solicitor / Senior Associate Solicitor – Birmingham City Centre – Competitive Salary + Bonus + Benefits
A highly regarded UK Top 50 law firm is seeking a Construction Associate Solicitor / Senior Associate Solicitor to join its growing Birmingham City Centre office as part of a strategic expansion within its nationally leading Construction practice. With continued investment and a strong pipeline of high-quality, high-profile work, this is a standout opportunity to join a modern, ambitious national firm offering excellent progression, leading salaries, tier-one quality clients, and a collaborative working environment. You’ll play a key role in a well-established team within one of the largest Construction departments in the UK, handling a broad mix of matters while benefiting from strong support, exposure to complex work, and clear routes for career development.
The Role:
- Managing a varied caseload of Construction matters, including both contentious and non-contentious work
- Advising clients across a range of construction disputes, contracts, and project-related matters
- Handling matters from instruction through to resolution, including adjudication, litigation, and ADR
- Drafting and negotiating construction contracts and legal documentation
- Providing commercially focused, pragmatic advice to a diverse client base across public and private sectors
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Attending client meetings, negotiations, and hearings, with advocacy opportunities where appropriate
- Supporting business development and contributing to the growth of the Birmingham team

The Candidate:
- A Construction Associate Solicitor / Senior Associate Solicitor operating from 2 – 10 years’ PQE
- Open to candidates from contentious, non-contentious, or mixed Construction backgrounds
- Experience gained within a reputable regional, national, or City firm
- Strong technical expertise across Construction law
- Exposure to high-quality work, ideally including well-known or large-scale projects
- Commercially aware, with strong client-handling and communication skills
- Ambitious and motivated, with an interest in business development and contributing to team growth
