Express Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Bid Writer to join a well-established construction and civil engineering environment. This role focuses on producing high-quality PQQs, tenders, and proposals, working closely with internal teams and external consultants.
There is an excellent renumeration package on offer including competitive salary of up to c£70k plus performance-based bonus, private medical insurance, competitive holiday allowance and so much more!

Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Bid Writer within the construction or civil engineering industry
- Third-level qualification in a construction or engineering-related discipline desirable
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Confident using Microsoft Office and presentation tools
Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop win strategies and structured answer plans for bids and tenders
- Review PQQ and tender requirements and plan submission approaches
- Lead assigned bids, including kick-off meetings and coordination of responses
- Produce, edit, and review bespoke tender responses aligned with client needs
- Support continuous improvement through feedback, research, and site engagement
