Construction Contracts/Commercial Manager – Battery Energy Storage (BESS) London (Hybrid Working) Up to £90,000 + bonus
OXBO are exclusively supporting a growing developer in the UK renewable energy sector in the search for a Construction Contracts/Commercial Manager to join their delivery team.
This is a unique opportunity to step into a foundational role, building and shaping the commercial function from the ground up, while working across a strong pipeline of grid-scale battery energy storage (BESS) projects.
The Opportunity You’ll play a key role in the commercial delivery of multiple UK projects, including:s everal large-scale BESS developments across Scotland, as well as additional projects across the rest of the UK Projects range in size up to ~100MW+, working alongside leading EPC contractors.

Key Responsibilities Lead commercial negotiations across EPC and O&M contracts (primarily FIDIC Yellow Book) Manage and maintain strong relationships with EPC contractors and stakeholders Oversee project budgets, cost tracking, and financial reporting Identify and mitigate commercial and contractual risks Establish and implement commercial processes and frameworks across the business

About You Approx. 5+ years’ experience within energy infrastructure (BESS strongly preferred, but wider renewables considered) Strong experience with contract negotiation and management (FIDIC knowledge highly advantageous) Commercially astute with the ability to operate in a hands-on, evolving environment Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
