The project scope includes planning, design, integration and delivery of major airfield infrastructure, buildings, systems and associated periphery infrastructure.

Job Summary
In this role, you will provide project field engineering specialization and expertise with work planning and packaging, material management, quantity verification and validation, safety and quality control, technical inspection and testing knowledge, and subcontract coordination. Your recommendations will ensure field engineering activities operate safely, are complete, and conform to quality standards and project requirements.
Major Responsibilities

Specialization & Expertise
Provides knowledge and expertise in a particular discipline, subject matter, or specialized process required for construction (e.g., tunnel boring, site de-watering, glove boxes, special coatings systems, HVAC systems, Fire Detection and Suppression, reactor tender gallery coordinator, etc.).
Provides technical consultation support to projects. -
Work Planning & Packaging
Prepares construction drawings and sketches.
Leads preparation of construction drawings and schedules and the design of temporary construction facilities and ensures preparation of "as built" drawings and other job plans. -
Material Management
Initiates requisitions for field purchases.
Prepares quantity takeoffs of field purchased material and equipment. -
Quantities
Leads the verification of commodities on quantity tracking systems or other computer database systems as required.

Safety / Quality Control
Ensures zero accident philosophy and requirements are implemented and adhered to by craft and others when in the operational area, and tools and equipment are in safe condition and operated safely.

Proactively considers continuous learning or show interest to pursue appropriate learning activities

STR / Subcontract Coordinator
Reviews and approves inspection test plans
Education And Experience Requirements
Required bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and 10-13 years of relevant experience or 14-17 years of relevant work experience.
