Construction Estimator

Construction Estimator

Midlands Region | Hybrid Working | Salary Negotiable

We are partnering with one of the UK's leading privately-owned Construction and Interiors businesses to recruit an experienced Estimator to support projects across the Midlands region.

With more than 170 years of industry heritage, our client is recognised as one of the UK's top employers, delivering sustainable, community-focused projects across both the public and private sectors. Known for innovation, flexible working, and a people-first culture, they continue to shape environments that create a lasting positive impact.

You'll become part of a collaborative and passionate preconstruction team that plays a vital role in the continued success of the business. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys delivering high-quality, accurate cost planning while identifying innovative ways to add value throughout the project lifecycle.

As an Estimator, you will manage commercial activities with a strong level of technical and financial expertise, ensuring projects are accurately priced and aligned with customer requirements, legislation, and business objectives.

You'll be responsible for pricing selected trades from first principles using agreed company outputs, preparing detailed handover documentation for delivery teams, and completing project take-offs to the required level of detail, including SMM7 standards where appropriate.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
