I am recruiting on behalf of a construction client based in Belfast.

Foreman / Site Manager (Step-Up Opportunity)

Are you an experienced construction professional ready to take the next step in your career? If you've been leading teams on-site, coordinating trades, or acting as a senior tradesperson and are looking for your first Foreman role with greater responsibility and career progression, we'd love to hear from you.

We're seeking a motivated and hands-on Foreman / Site Manager to play a key role in delivering a variety of construction projects across Greater Belfast and beyond. This is an excellent opportunity to move into a leadership position where you'll receive the autonomy, support, and exposure needed to develop your management career.

The Opportunity

As Foreman / Site Manager, you'll be responsible for overseeing day-to-day site activities, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. Working closely with Project Managers, you'll lead site teams, coordinate subcontractors, and help drive projects from start to successful completion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate daily site activities to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and to specification
  • Supervise subcontractors, tradespeople, and suppliers, maintaining productive and efficient workflows
  • Read and interpret drawings, specifications, and project documentation
  • Promote a strong health and safety culture, conduct toolbox talks, and ensure site compliance
  • Monitor progress, maintain site records, and communicate updates to the wider project team
  • Identify and resolve site issues proactively, keeping projects moving forward
  • Manage the effective use of labour, materials, plant, and equipment
  • Maintain high standards of workmanship and quality across all phases of construction

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
