Construction Manager – £70,000 - £75,000 + Travel Allowance

Location: London (W1) | Workplace: Site-Based

Company: Leading main contractor | Portfolio Scope: £200m turnover, £10m–£100m schemes Project Types: Cut & Carve, CAT A & CAT B | Specialisation: Prestigious commercial build / fit-outs


About the Role

Are you an ambitious Construction Manager looking to spearhead high-impact, design-led projects in London while securing career-defining advancement? Our client—a reputationally outstanding main contractor—is seeking driven professionals who thrive in challenging environments and aspire to executive leadership.

This multimillion-pound business excels with elite clients and architects, delivering schemes like super-prime residential, hotels, and technical cut-and-carve structures—each demanding creativity, precision, and excellence.


Key Responsibilities

You will take full ownership of schemes from concept to completion, with hands-on involvement during procurement and pre-construction phases (great for personal development). Current projects include:

  • A £60m commercial cut & carve project
  • A £40m luxury refurbishment
  • A £30m CAT B scheme

Requirements

  • Proven track record in construction management within commercial, residential, or high-end fit-out projects
  • Experience with CAT A/B schemes andcutaneous architecture (not mandatory, but valued)
  • Developing expertise in street-level procurement (and completion)
  • Strong behaviour that aligns with high-end, client-focused delivery
  • Long commitment to central London-based roles with site-based work
