About the Role
Are you an ambitious Construction Manager looking to spearhead high-impact, design-led projects in London while securing career-defining advancement? Our client—a reputationally outstanding main contractor—is seeking driven professionals who thrive in challenging environments and aspire to executive leadership.
This multimillion-pound business excels with elite clients and architects, delivering schemes like super-prime residential, hotels, and technical cut-and-carve structures—each demanding creativity, precision, and excellence.
Key Responsibilities
You will take full ownership of schemes from concept to completion, with hands-on involvement during procurement and pre-construction phases (great for personal development). Current projects include:
- A £60m commercial cut & carve project
- A £40m luxury refurbishment
- A £30m CAT B scheme

Key tasks include:
- Cross-departmental leadership: Align procurement, design, and delivery teams
- Commercial acumen: Optimise value while maintaining design integrity
- Technical problem-solving: Tackle complex challenges in cut-and-carve/mixed-use builds
- Mentorship: Work alongside senior leadership playing mentorship roles
Requirements
- Proven track record in construction management within commercial, residential, or high-end fit-out projects
- Experience with CAT A/B schemes andcutaneous architecture (not mandatory, but valued)
- Developing expertise in street-level procurement (and completion)
- Strong behaviour that aligns with high-end, client-focused delivery
- Long commitment to central London-based roles with site-based work
