About Marzipan

Marzipan Energy is a UK-based renewable energy company focused on the acquisition and development of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and solar PV projects. Founded by a team with extensive experience across the clean energy sector, including the development of over 4GW of BESS assets and the construction of more than 200MW. Their transactional expertise spans the acquisition and disposal of individual assets and large portfolios, as well as a platform deal of nearly 2GW.

Marzipan Energy is actively acquiring BESS and solar PV assets across the UK, both Ready-to-Build assets with near-term connection dates and early-stage development projects with connection dates post-2028. The company is using their grid expertise and industry insight to develop their own targeted pipeline of renewable energy assets in key locations across the UK.

Operating with strong financial backing and a focused growth strategy, Marzipan offers a unique opportunity for professionals seeking to contribute to a high-impact business while developing broad, hands-on experience across the clean energy project lifecycle.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
